VIOLENT ROLLOVER SOUTH OF MONETT

JULY 27, 2024 - BARRY COUNTY, MO

A Chevy Suburban travelling Southbound on Farm Road 1090 lost control and violently rolled into and snapped a power pole this morning.

Both occupants were assisted out of the vehicle with help from bystanders. Initially, medical care was declined but after being checked by Barry-Lawrence County Ambulance District, both occupants were transported to a local hospital.

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded as well as Ozark Electric. Despite the damage, it is not believed that there were any power outages related to the accident.

Thomas Towing and Recovery transported the vehicle to a private residence as lineman made repairs to the electric lines.
