VEHICLE ROLLS AFTER AVOIDING DOG
JULY 27, 2024 - Monett, MO
At 2:25pm, Monett Rural Fire District was dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover accident at FR1120 and State Highway Z. The single occupant of the vehicle was able to self-extricate prior to arrival of emergency personnel and claimed to be uninjured.
According to statement on scene, the driver said he was attempting to avoid a dog causing the vehicle to exit the roadway just before a culvert crossing under the road.
Missouri State Highway Patrol, Monett Rural Fire District and Barry-Lawrence County Ambulance District assisted on scene prior to Certified Towing recovering the vehicle.
No leaks from the vehicle were suspected and there was no known affect to the water source the vehicle came to rest in.
