FIRE DEPT SAVES STRUCTURE JUST IN TIME

JULY 20, 2024 - PURDY, MO

An outside fire spread to an outbuilding Saturday afternoon prompting a call for the Purdy Fire Department.

Due to initial reports stating a structure was involved, automatic aid from Monett Rural Fire and Butterfield Fire was dispatched.

Upon arrival, Purdy firefighters got a quick knockdown on the fire as it had reached the corner of the building. No interior extension of the fire was present and damage was minimal.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
