SHOOTING SENDS TEENAGER TO THE HOSPITAL

OCTOBER 30, 2026 - MONETT, MO

Police, medics and firefighters swarmed the 500 block of Pearl Street just before 4AM Friday morning for reports of a gunshot victim. What they found was one teenage victim, a group of young adults and evidence spreading from inside the house to a block away.

Witnesses reported a vehicle fleeing from the scene however, no threat to the public was mentioned as the suspect was apprehended at the scene and is currently being held without bail on multiple charges. Anthony Sandoval (22) was arrested without incident and is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
