ROLLOVER CRASH CLOSES HIGHWAY

MAY 23, 2026 - PLEASANT RIDGE, MO

On Sunday evening a Missouri State Park Ranger came across a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway VV, 2 miles South of Pleasant Ridge.

Rescue crews from Monett Rural Fire District Station 2 were immediately dispatched along with Barry-Lawrence County Ambulance District.

Highway VV was temporarily shut down in both directions for about 30 minutes until crews on site could move the wreckage allowing one lane of traffic to pass. The highway fully reopened around 8:00pm after Thomas Towing & Recovery removed the vehicle.
